Feb. 1st, 2020 07:35 amBlack Moon Cosmetics-Finally got a chance to try out of some their products and the lipsticks are pigmented but apply smoothly. The Squid highlighter is sooo nice! It gives an ethereal glow without looking glittery or like your skin is wet. I guess that's a a trend now, looking like you've got a lightbulb going off at the tip of your nose.
Tales of Alvin Maker- Found this series at my local used bookstore; this cover art is just everything LOL To be honest, I think my friend Jeremiah tried to get me to read these back in the late 90s because he thought the story was something I would enjoy. His advice went ignored, for I was too busy for anything but vampires at the time!!
This article- So, the pagan interwebz collectively lost its mind when some lady wrote about "becoming a witch in a week". It's crazy to me how trendy the occult aesthetic and "witchy" lifestyle is. Sacred tools and symbols basically being treated as props and people are spending ridiculous amount of money on crystals, tacky Killstar clothing, and pretty hardcover books with spells but no actual information on things that were once considered basics in the occult: breath work, the witches pyramid, sensing energy, creative visualization, LBRP, etc. I know I sound old and crabby but maybe by wanting to gain acceptance by society, we watered down the craft??
New Docs<3- For whatever reason, these were nearly half off on Amazon, some sort of special discount? Now they are regular price again so I have not idea why they had a coupon at the time. These babies have been on my wishlist for years so I decided to treat myself.
Lineup Announcement for C26!!-Booked my hotel room and it looks like Sarah is going to try to organize a carpool. I don't now though, I think I might just fly because I hate being cramped in a car for long periods of time.
