?%$&*@#!!!!!!
May. 20th, 2019 08:15 am It feels like people were determined to annoy the shit out of me last week.
First of all, that GoT finale? Total crap and the whole season overall felt rushed and not well written.
A certain someone really got screwed over in a way I didn't expect and they didn't deserve. The whole thing was pretty anti-climactic; although I do like what happened to Bran in the end.
All this these anit-abortion bills and laws are enough to make any sane person scream. It has been giving me so much anxiety all week, I actually turned off the TV in the breakroom when one of the guys was watching it on the news. I just said "Sorry, I can't handle hearing about this every moment of the day. If you care so much, go and watch it on your phone". Kinda bitchy, but whatevs:/
Anyway....after the experience I had with ULTA the other day I will never shop there again.
Which is unfortunate because it's literally 2 stores down from my work and super convenient to go to the salon.
So, for my birthday, my bf gave me a $200 gift to Ulta because all my makeup is old and needs to be replaced.
I've got the gift card, I'm not their website placing an order for a few things that were only available online. After I enter the gift card code, I hit the button underneath that says SUBMIT. Without taking me to a page to verify my address, it tells me my order has been placed and will be send to my old address in Elk Grove. Yes where my psycho step mom lives. So, of course I immediately attempt to cancel or change the order but there are no options to do so on the website.
I email customer service, but then decide to go ahead and call because I don't want to wait.
The agent tells me that cannot edit or cancel orders once they have been placed.
Uh what??
This is 2019. They are an Amazon owned company. I had placed the order within the hour and for some reason they can't cancel it? Bullshit!
Their response was basically that I will have to wait for the item to be returned to sender, assuming that the person who received the package is honest enough not to take it.
So ridiculous. Cindy will probably just throw it out or something. Now I am out the money I used on my gift card, and have to repurchase those items again.
My insurance stopped covering my type of birth control for some reason. And my doctor was not responding the the phone calls regarding getting a different generic. But she wanted on ths particular one because of my PCOS symptoms. Pharmacy told me it would be $200 if I paid cash. Ummm how about NO.
This combined with the abortion drama going on gave me mega anxiety.
So I download that GoodRx app, and see that my pills would be less than $35 if I DON'T use insurance and just use the coupon. Transfer the RX to CVS and show them the coupon and its no problem to get it filled. The tech even said for a lot of people, it is cheaper to use the GoodRx coupon rather the the insurance copay, depending on how good your insurance plan is.
It's my birthday week now so people better get their collective shit together because I AM DONE
Thankfully I have Friday and Saturday off so I don't have to deal with morons at work :)
